We already told you about Huawei’s MateBook D which offers a great combo of budget & power in a laptop.  Previously, it was only armed w/ AMD’s new Ryzen CPU.  Now the Intel versions have arrived and offering a little bit more for more $$.

The Intel variants offer a 14inch 1080p touchscreen 16:9 display, choice of 8th-gen Core i5 or Core i7, 8GB of RAM, choice of 256GB or 512GB SSD for storage, addition fingerprint reader, 4-speaker Dolby Atmos Sound, 1 USB-C, 2 regular USB ports, 1 HDMI, a headphone jack, and a suggested 12-hour battery life.  All while still retaining its 3.5lbs weight.  

The Intel MateBook Ds are now available at Amazon, B&H, Microsoft, & Newegg.  The Core i5 version will cost you $999 while the Core i7 version $1,099.
