Apple just made everything official by sending out press invites tot heir next big event for the 2018 iPhones. So we’re anticipating 3 new iPhones this year, a new Apple Watch, and possibly more surprises.
Expect this to be another S-year w/ iPhones but w/ more options.
So we expect a new 5.8inch OLED iPhone Xs w/ more powerful internals & maybe new software tricks, a more affordable 6.1inch LCD iPhone X (iPhone 9 maybe), and a larger 6.5inch OLED iPhone Xs Plus. The new devices could get rid of 3D Touch, don’t look for Apple Pencil support, and Face ID would be present on them all. While the 6.1inch iPhone is said to arrive in a variety of 4 or 5 color options.
We expect a new Apple Watch w/ a bigger screen + smaller bezels and possibly no hardware buttons as well as a new iPad Pro w/ Face ID support. The other hardware anticipated is the new Retina MacBook Air & pro-line Mac Mini but that could arrive at a separate event before the year is out.
