Earlier today at Motorola’ HQ in Chicago, they unveiled their 2018 flagship Android device w/ the Moto Z3.  This will arrive as a Verizon exclusive so no other carriers in the US will get to sell this.

The Moto Z3 will offer a 6inch HD+ AMOLED display, powered by a Snapdragon 835 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage expandable via microSD, fingerprint reader on the side of the device, f/2.0 12MP dual rear-facing cameras + 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3000 mAh battery w/ fast charging.

In regards to the 5G stuff, it will have a capable internal modem but will need the 5G Moto Mod to do it all.  This Mod is huge but it kind of has to be to get those speeds.  I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a battery in there as well.

The Moto Z3 will arrive in Ceramic Black color option only and will cost you only $480 at full retail or $20 per month on a payment plan.  No word on pricing or availability for the 5G Moto Mod but Verizon will begin rolling out their 5G network sometime next year.  So looks like the Z3 will be their 5G network device as the HTC Thunderbolt was to their 4G LTE network.

This kind of future-proofs the device a bit in regards to network speeds and w/ the affordable pricing, this might be a must-buy.  Hopefully, Motorola has improved their cameras.
