Yesterday, Google announced the arrival of Mini Stickers coming to Gboard users sometime this week.  Think of Mini Stickers as Google’s take on Bitmojis that live within your keyboard app.  You just take a photo of you and then custom sticker styles are created using your face. 

This isn’t a relatively new idea as this launched last year for the Allo chat app as Selfie Stickers.  Now that the Allo app is going bye-bye, we will see some of their features arrive in other Google apps.  If you don’t seem the prompt to create your in within the Sticker section of Gboard, you’ll have to wait towards the end of the week when it should be rolled out to everyone.  

I prefer Google’s Minis over Samsung’s AR Emojis but that’s just me.  I put a few of them side-by-side to compare below.
