We pretty much know about the Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL set to arrive next month. There are rumors of other types of hardware set to be unveiled that day as well. One of them is a wireless charging stand for the new Pixels as they now support wireless charging.
That stand is said to be called, you guessed it, the Pixel Stand. Based on recent leaks from the folks over at XDA, it may do a bit more than just charge your phone. The image above shows off a new UI of what the Pixel 3 will look like when it’s charging on it.
It gives you phone a different UI and sort of turns into a smaller Smart Display. You could ask to pull up things like the weather, music, etc. all just by saying ‘hey Google’. Which is kind of dope and adds a bit more incentive to get the Pixel Stand.
I hope this actually comes into fruition as I think this would be a great accessory from Google to go w/ their new smartphones. What do you think about it?
