Google allowed other manufacturers to drop first as its now their turn for their own Smart Display.  The look matches up to what we saw in the leaks for it as it aligns w/ the Google Home Max.

No privacy concerns here (visually, anyway) as you got no webcam present.

You got a 7inch LCD display w/o a webcam, Bluetooth 5.0 support, a full range speaker, and 2 far-field mics on board.  The Home Hub utilizes their new Home View one-stop dashboard to control apps all using the Home app.  You’ll be able to add Live Albums to your screen saver when not in use which is different than just showing a photo slideshow.  This will allow you to select specific people to create an album of and remove the bad/blurry shots.

The Google Home Hub will cost you $150 and will come w/ 6 months of YouTube Premium for free.  Pre-orders kick off today and will launch on October 22nd.

Is this the Smart Display you’ve been waiting for?
