While last year’s Pixel Buds from Google didn’t get enough attention to warrant a sequel, Google isn’t finished w/ it completely.  The real-time translation feature will live on in other headphones.

According to one of their Pixel Buds support pages, the Google Translate is coming (if not already present) on Google Assistant-powered headphones.  So this means along w/ the Pixel Buds, the USB-C earbuds that ship w/ your Pixel 3/3XL, the Bose QC 35IIs, the LG Tone Platinum SE, JBL Everest GA-line, and Sony’s WH-1000XM2 & XM3s will get the feature.

But unless they beefed up the way it translates, it’s just OK – based on our review of the Pixel Buds.  You can just use the Google Translate app by itself.

Is this a feature you’re looking forward to using?
