So as 2018 comes to an end, we didn’t get a few things we’re still waiting for from Apple: mainly, new AirPods. Based on a new report from the folks over at 9to5Mac, we’re may finally get them sometime early next year.
So the report says that we will get a refreshed take on the AirPods will add water-resistance, noise-cancellation, better Bluetooth range + features, a new hinge on the case, and beefier internals that will make it a bit more expensive. The newer 2020 edition of the AirPods is said to offer a new design and that’s all of the intel we really have on it. Both models will add wireless charging support to the mix.
So no word on the elusive AirPower charging mat that was announced back in 2017. But we’ll get new AirPods early next year and a redesigned version the year after that.
Anyone looking to up[grade to the newer AirPods slated to arrive next year?
