Remember the AI-powered Google Duplex from I/O last year? It came to select Pixel smartphones last year in select cities and it expanding to more.
Effective yesterday, the feature is now available to all Pixel smartphones and coming to 43 states in the US. You can see the full listing of all of the states here. So this will allow you to reserve a table at a restaurant at your desired date/time, via the power of Google Assistant. It will respond to the caller to confirm everything.
Google is still planning on bringing Duplex to more Android devices as well as iOS over the next few weeks.
