After almost 4 years, Apple finally decides to give one of their older products some much-need love and attention. Say hello to the new-and-improved (sort of) iPod Touch 2019.
So on the outside, not much if anything has changed but the internals are upgraded to offer some of the more modern iOS features. So you still have a 4inch IPS display w/ 1136 x 640 resolution, an f/2.4 8MP rear-facing camera + f/2.2 1.2MP FaceTime camera, a headphone jack, and Home button. So along w/ running iOS 12, you got Group FaceTime, AR Experiences, and support for Apple’s upcoming Arcade gaming subscription. All of this is being powered by their A10 Fusion CPU last seen on the iPhone 7.
The new iPod Touch is out right now. It arrives in 6 colors: Space Gray, White, Gold, Blue, Pink, & Product RED. You’ll have to decide between 3 storage options as well. The 32GB starts at $200, the 128GB is $300, and the 256GB is $400.
So who’s looking to pick this up or finally upgrade their older model?
