Yesterday, Bose tweeted something to let people know they got new cans coming and today they made it official.  Nope, not another pair of QuietComfort cans but something different.  Meet the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700.

At 1st glance, you can see these aren’t what you’re expecting from Bose design-wise.  This gives them a more modern look outside of the classic QC design that has made it way to most of the Bose headphones.  The new aesthetic offers up touch control navigation, synthetic protein leather cups, and a USB-C port (finally!).  You still retain Alexa & Google Assistant support and adds Siri to the mix as well.

Bose steps up the design and noise cancelling along w/ the price as well.

The new 4-mic system offers multiple layered noise cancellation using both active & passive methods.  This now grants you an adjustable noise cancelling feature w/ up to 11 different settings.  With USB-C, you get quick charging that will get you 3 and a half hours on a 15-min charge.  However, these will have a 20-hour battery life as opposed to the competition.

This also touts their Bose AR feature which is audio augmented reality.  This uses motion sensors to detect head orientation and body movement that gives you a more immersive audio experience via various apps.

Now these aren’t replacing the QC line as this will be the next step up from it.  You can pre-order yours right now as they’re due out on June 20th.  Hopefully, we can get our hands on these to test the levels of NC and how good is the sound.  Especially when they want $50 more than the competition w/ shorter battery life.

Are you picking one up?
