We knew it was coming and here it is today.  Say hello to the OnePlus 7 Pro: probably the company’s most feature & spec packed in recent years.   All w/o a notch or a hole punch on the screen.

OnePlus finally goes high-end - for real, for real this time w/ the 7 Pro.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will offer a 6.67inch QHD+ AMOLED display w/ 3120 x 1440 resolution + 516ppi/HDR10 + HDR10+, powered by a Snapdragon 855 CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of faster UFS 3.0 storage, in-display fingerprint reader, running Oxygen OS (now w/ an added Screen Recorder + Zen Mode to use the phone less) on top of Android 9 Pie, and a 4000 mAh battery w/ Warp Charge 30 (almost half full in a 20 minute charge).

OnePlus made their 7 Pro w/ serious hard-core mobile gaming in mind.  So you get 90Hz refresh rate on the display, a 10-layer liquid cooling system to prevent overheating, dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, multiple levels of haptic feedback, and RAM Boost to intelligently assign RAM to more memory-hunger gaming or apps.

The 7 Pro also offers a 3-camera system on the rear w/an f/2.0 16MP pop-up selfie camera.  The rear shooters consist of an f/1.6 48MP sensor w/ OIS, an f/2.4 8MP telephoto lens, and an f/2.2 117-degree 16MP ultra-wide sensor.  You can shoot 1080p + 4K up to 60fps and Super Slow-Motion in 1080p@240fps.  They offer a triple AF system as well w/ PDAF (phase-detection autofocus), CAF (continuous autofocus), and Laser focusing features.  If you’re worried about the pop-up mechanism, it has been tested over 300,000 times.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will be available on May 17th in Nebula Blue or Mirror Grey starting at $669 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version.  T-Mobile will be selling the 8GB RAM/256GB storage in both colors starting at $699.  If you’re in the nYC area, you can pick up after the launch event at T-Mo’s Signature store in Herald Square.

They already proved they can be faster and offer more for less.  Now its time to see if they go head-to-head w/ the other flagships.   Are you picking up the OnePlus 7 Pro to find out?
