With Sprint and Verizon already pushing their 5G networks & phones, its T-Mobile’s time. Announced yesterday morning, T-Mobile unveiled their launch cities for their 5G network and its across 6 cities.
So T-Mo’s 5G sites will be Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and NYC. They’re not bragging about it as it will be super limited and will probably only work outdoors. T-Mo’s next wave will be utilized to bring more reach and range to the mix.
Now the phone handling their new network is the Galaxy S10 5G. To recap, it offers a 6.7inch QHD AMOLED, Snapdragon 855 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a total of 6 cameras, and a 4500 mAh battery w/ Wireless PowerShare. Keep in mind, it will cost you a pretty penny. Full retail will set you back $1,299 but you can pay $31.25 monthly w/ $550 down.
Definitely curious to see what kind of speeds T-Mobile will offer stepping into 5G in regards to speeds. What do you think of it all?
