As we’re getting closer tot hat alleged September 10th date for Apple’s iPhone event, we’re getting more details on the new iPhone as well as tons of other things.  Thanks to the folks over at Bloomberg, we got a massive layout of information on what Apple has planned for product launches.

We’re talking about the upcoming iPhones, new iPads, Apple Watches, AirPods, & more.  We got all of the details laid out below:

2019 iPhones

  • We’re expecting 3 models: the 2 standard will be called Pro models, replacing the XS + XS Max. The 3rd phone will  replace the XR & will offer dual cameras.
  • The Pro iPhones will offer 3 rear cameras that will include a wide-angle lens, support for higher resolution photos, better low light photos and video recording.
  • The Pro models will support reverse wireless charging like many Android devices already offer as you’ll be able to charge your newer AirPods on it.
  • It will also have a new, multi-angle, Face ID that will allow the phone to sense your face while lying flat on a table as well as  better waterproofing, and new shatter-resistance technology.  All the 2019  iPhones will run a faster A13 processor, as well as a new Matrix chip that could benefit computer vision and augmented reality performance.
  • Outside of a new matte-colored finish, the Pro phones will look broadly similar to last year’s models.
  • 3D Touch has reportedly been dropped from all of this year’s phones and replaced with the Haptic Touch system that  is already on the iPhone XR.
  • Don’t expect a 5G iPhone this year; Apple isn’t reportedly planning on releasing one until 2020.
  • The upgrades for this year’s iPhone XR successor are more minor. As well as a faster processor, the phone will reportedly feature a dual-camera at the rear with support for optical zoom, and will also be available in a new green color.

2019 iPads

  • We’re also getting a new 11-inch and a 12.9-inch iPad Pros this year. We’re looking at upgraded cameras, faster processors, but the same look for the most part.
  • They may get rid of the 9.7inch entry-level iPad for a new 10.2-inch one.

2019 MacBook Pros

  • The new 16inch Macbook Pro laptop will look close to the existing 15-inch MacBook Pro, but will be able to include a bigger screen because of their smaller screen bezels. The 16-inch MacBook Pro will be aimed at the professional market so don’t expect this one to start at under $2,000.

2019 Apple Watch

  • Other than the reported new Ceramic & Titanium finishes, the changes will be focused around watchOS 6 improvements.

2020 AirPods

We’re expecting to finally get noise-canceling versions of the AirPods next year.  They will also support better water-resistance, improved ‘Hey Siri’ support, and battery life.  Don’t expect these to start at $160 though as they will probably be around $200 or more.

New HomePod

Since the original HomePod didn’t sell too well, Apple is making a smaller and cheaper version of it.  So instead of having 7 tweeters, this one will only have 3 of them. No word on pricing but if the OG one costs $350 this one should at least be half or a little bit more.

So is any of the new info getting you excited for future products from Apple or do you have to wait and see?
