Well, there was word that it was coming and it is now here and official – at least earlier today anyways.  The official version of Android 10 is out of beta and is here for consumption for select devices.

So if you’re curious to know what devices will get them, all Google Pixel smartphones, Essential Phone, and the OnePlus 7 Pro to name a few.  If you want to recap on what’s new, we got you covered as well.  You get things like:

  • Smart Reply
  • Dark Theme
  • Gesture Navigation
  • Live Caption in select native apps
  • Better Privacy & Security features
  • Family Link & Focus Mode comes to Digital Wellbeing
  • More inclusive Emojis
  • Android Auto is now built-in and native
  • and more

For those of you w/o a phone listed above, it might be a while before you get a version of Android 10 to your device.  Depending on the phone, it can be as early as before the end of the year or before the 2020 Android flagship devices are unveiled in early Spring.

Who’s interested in giving Android 10 a spin?
