Yesterday out in NYC, Anker held a small press conference to unveil their latest Soundcore lineup of wireless audio products. Mainly new additions and updates to their Liberty and Spirit line of products. They’ve been working hard as they dropped 6 products in total. Let’s break it all down and tell you what its all about.
Let’s start w/ their top of the line earbuds and working our way down. This is the new Liberty Pro 2 earbuds. These use a new custom Astria coaxial acoustic technology to give you the best quality of sound in an earbud. We tested them out and they sound pretty good.
It offers a custom Hear ID sound profile you can create for yourself, 4 mics on board better call quality, and USB-C fast-charging + wireless charging support. It gives you 8 hour per charge and can be charged up to 4 times within its charging case. These are due out shortly on 10/8 for only $149.
Moving on to the rest of the Liberty series, we got the Liberty 2 and the Liberty Air 2. The Liberty 2s are similar to the 2 Pros in almost every way but lacks their high-end drivers. Its still good but not as good as the Pros. All for $50 less at $100 next month.
While the Liberty Air 2 offer the AirPod-like design w/ 6mm drivers, IPX5 sweat + waterproof, custom Hear ID profile, a 4-mic noise-cancelling system, 7-hours of battery life that goes up to 28 hours via its charging chase that supports USB-C + fast charging. Also for the price of $100 and coming next month.
Kicking things off w/ the Spirit line is the Spirit 2 earbuds. They have a sportier design similar to the PowerBeats but have offers a more value. These have an 14-hour battery life, IP68 dust/water-resistant body, DualEQ w/ normal + bass mode, and custom AirWing eartips for better fit. All of this for $50 available right now here.
Next up we got the Spirit Dot 2 earbuds. These are similar to the Liberty earbuds but more budget-friendly & less specs. You got 8mm drivers, IPX7 sweat/water-resistant, custom AirWing eartips, 5 and a half hour battery life that goes up to 16 hours w/ its USB-C charging case. All of this for only $80 coming next month.
And last but not least, we got the Spirit X2 earbuds. These are modeled after the PowerBeats Pro design w/ earhooks. These offer 12mm drivers, DualEQ w/ BassUp + BassTurbo, IP68 dust/water-resistant body, flexible earhooks, a 9-hour battery life that goes up to 36-hours via its USB-C charging case. All of this for only $100 and set to arrive sometime next month.
