Yesterday, GoPro announced their new action camera(s) for 2019.  We say plural as there are now 2 new Hero cameras w/ one being a modest update and the other being a newer vision of their cameras.  Say hello to the Hero8 and the Hero Max.  

The new Hero8 Black offers a 12MP sensor a new SuperPhoto that optimzes better HDR + noise-reduction, can do RAW photos, capable of up to 4K video @60fps & 1080p up to 240fps, capable of Night Lapse video, HyperSmooth stabilization is even better, LiveBurst, custom presets, 8x slow-motion, 3-mics on board, and waterproof up to 33ft.  

GoPro made sure to add new Mods to kind of rig your new GoPro up w/ an external light, external monitor, and a Media mod for 2.5mm + 3.5mm audio jacks, HDMI out, & shotgun mic.  

This new camera is the new GoPro Max.  This is more of a versatile camera as it acts as a 3-in-1 shooter: a Hero Camera, a 360 camera, and vlogging camera all in one.  

Most of the specs match up w/ the Hero8 Black.  You got up a dual 12MP sensor capable of up to 4K video @60fps + 1080p up to 240fps, up to 100MB/s in 4K video, the new HyperSmooth stabilization, Raw photos, custom presets, 3-mics, 8x slow-motion, LiveBurst, and waterproof up to 33ft.  

The Hero8 Black will cost you $400 as you can pre-order now as it will arrive on 10/15.  While the Max will cost you $500 as you can pre-order yours now to arrive on 10/25.  The new GoPro Mods can be pre-ordered in December.
