Although it didn’t make its way around this year, it is possible to for the return of the iPhone SE for next year.  Current rumors bring more details on what we can expect for the sequel to Apple’s budget smartphone.

Think iPhone 11 internals inside of a iPhone 8.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo speaks on what he’s learned about the upcoming device by the way of 9to5Mac.  The iPhone SE 2 is said to offer the body style of the iPhone 8.  Retaining the Touch ID, thicker bezels at the top & bottom, the SE 2 will be powered by the recent A13 CPU along w/ 3GB of RAM, and more than likely a single 12MP shooter on the rear – hopefully.

People loved the original iPhone SE as it was modeled after a previous model w/ newer internals for a $400 price point.  Now, I’m not sure what the 2nd generation will be priced at.  If I were a gambling man, I would say that it would start at $499.

I know plenty of people still prefer the iPhone 8 model over the current one so this might be a nice hit in regards to sales.  The iPhone SE 2 is currently pegged for a possible 2020 release.  If this comes to light, would you be interested in picking this up?
