Earlier today, the folks over at Nomad Goods announced a new take to their Base Station Hub. Meet the new Base Station Pro: an updated take on their popular product but armed w/ new technology for better charging.

So the new Base Station Pro is armed w/ a single 18-coil Qi charger that will allow you to charge your device in any orientation. This is possible thanks to a company called Aria and their FreePower technology. This utilizes algorithms to find your device fast and charge your devices anyway on the charging pad. This new tech offers up to a 5W speed per device when charging 3 devices at the same time. It is also being powered by a 30W USB-C PD charger.
We got no word on pricing as of yet. Since it ain’t coming, you can stop looking for AirPower but this is looks to be a great option. I hope the new tech works as advertised when you can truly put it anywhere.
