Back in 2017 when Google launched the 1st Pixel Buds, it didn’t get a warm reception. I thought the sound quality was OK but the live translation portion didn’t work as advertised.
Fast-forward to 2019 and we now have the 2nd-generation Pixel Buds and this time they’re truly wireless. They got a new + updated look to them as well as modern features. They maintained the small footprint while offering 2 mics to capture audio commands for Google Assistant and to activate ‘Hey Google’. The new Buds offer high-quality audio as well as a spatial vent to hear the outside as well. It maintains the same 5-hour battery life that stretches out to 24-hours w/ the charging case.
The new Google Pixel Buds is coming next year for $179, and will come in four colors: Clearly White, Oh So Orange, Quite Mint and Almost Black.
Will you be picking these up or passing on them?
