Looks like for those of you who own either a Google Nest Hub or the Google Nest Hub Max, its about to get even better.  Google recently gave it an update to add ultrasonic sensing to the mix.  This feature carries over from the new Nest Mini & Nest Wi-Fi.

This bit of news is revealed by the folks over at Android Police while the folks over at Engadget showed off an early preview last month.  The new feature allows your smart display to detect when you’re nearby to automatically pull up info like timers, your commute, or weather.  When you move away from it, the display will now make the font larger to be easier to read from afar.  The larger Nest Hub Max will be able to pull up your actual info thanks to the front-facing Nest camera that can recognize you.  While the smaller Nest Hub will lack the personal details due to a lack of a camera.

We just got our hands on the larger Nest Hub Max so look out for our review.  We’ll make sure to dive into this new feature coming soon. What do you think of the new feature and are you looking forward to using it?
