Today T-Mobile kicked off another one of their Un-Carrier events but instead of promos and such, they’re talking 5G.  T-Mo already kicked off their 5G in several smaller area utilizing their mmWave network which only cover smaller areas.  Now they’re solution of properly expanding is here.

So T-Mo will be using their 600MHz network to spread out that 5G coverage across the US.  They’re hoping to cover 200 million customers w/ speeds of up to 450Mbps by 2024.  Though not quite the 1Gbps Verizon maxes out at but still 10 times faster than their current LTE speeds.  This will kick off officially on December 6th.  Worth noting that T-Mo only has 2 5G supported phones w/ the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G and the OnePlus 7T Pro MacLaren 5G.

T-Mo also unveiled their new Connecting Heroes Initiative that grants US law enforcement, fire, & EMS service workers free unlimited talk, text, & 5G internet.  Glad to hear more carriers are starting to do this.  And lastly, we got T-Mobile Connect prepaid plan that offers unlimited talk + text w/ 2GB of high-speed data for only $15.

Let us know which news are you looking forward to?
