So last night, Tesla had their big reveal for a new electric vehicle: a pickup truck.  They’re calling it the Cybertruck as it is said to be inspired by Blade Runner’s cyberpunk, futuristic design – for better or worse.  Despite its appearance which I’m not a huge fan of, its still a Tesla so it will have all of the range, features and everything you would expect from Tesla Motors and more.

Tesla made an electric truck w/ sports car performance.

The Cybertruck can go 0-60MPH in less than 2.9 seconds, offers up to a 500+ mile range, has 100 cubic ft of space inside of it w/ lockable storage areas, offers a 17inch touchscreen inside, can seat up to 6 adults, can tow more than 14,000 lbs, body is made of ultra-hard cold rolled 30x stainless steel to prevent corrosion and less dents in accidents, and Tesla armored glass to take more of a beating than your average car windows.

You have 3 versions of the truck to choose from: a single motor w/ RWD, a dual motor w/ AWD, and a new triple motor w/ AWD that gets all of the high-end features + specs but ships the latest as production won’t even start until late 2022.  The Cybertruck starts at $40,000 and goes up to $77,000.  You can reserve yours now w/ just a $100 deposit.

So now that you’ve seen it and know all about it, are you gonna reserve one?
