Looks like Google ain’t the only one working on their version of AirDrop for Android.  According to the folk over at XDA Developers, Samsung is working on one as well and they’re calling it Quick Share.

Now like anything else Samsung, this would be for Galaxy phones only.  This would act as a quick file sharing service between nearby devices or via the cloud.  If you opt for the cloud route, the file would be temporarily hosted via Samsung Cloud limited to 1GB file at a time and a max of 2GB per day.

Hopefully, there is more to it than this as this doesn’t sound like a worthy competitor.  Anyways, the new feature is set to arrive on the One UI 2.1 update.  Not sure if that will arrive w/ the S20 or shortly afterwards.

Hopefully by then, they can actually make this into something. Thoughts?
