Now Samsung is no stranger to Chromebooks or even premium ones at that.  Earlier today, they announced an even more premium one w/ the Galaxy Chromebook.  This is the end result of a collaboration between Google + Samsung.  This looks like the reason why Google didn’t go for another premium Pixelbook and went w/ the Pixelbook Go.  Now back to this Samsung one.

Samsung is giving you a 1.2mm thin profile in a 2-in-1 style laptop design.  This offers a 13.3inch 4K AMOLED display w/ 3840 x 2160 resolution, powered by a 10th-gen Intel Core i5 CPU, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB SSD, a built-in S Pen, Wi-Fi 6 support, a 2W stereo speakers, microSD slot, 2 USB-C, a headphone/mic jack, a 1MP webcam + 8MP camera on the keyboard, a fingerprint reader on the keyboard, and a 8-hour battery life.

The Galaxy Chromebook won’t be cheap as it will start, yes start, at $999 and arrive in this lovely Fiesta Red and regular Mercury Gray.  This is due out sometime within the 1st quarter of this year.

Not sure how many people will go out and pick this up but whoever does, they should be extremely pleased.
