Right before the end of 2019, we started to hear rumblings of something new Samsung is said to unveil at CES 2020. Now on the eve of the official electronics show, a bit of details has come to light. on it. We originally thought that this was gonna be some sort of evolution of Bixby but we were wrong as Samsung is thinking bigger.
Think of the AI hologram from Blade Runner 2049 as a good example of this.
Samsung’s Neon is looking like it will be digital avatars or digital humans of sorts w/ the ability to talk display emotion and recognize it as well. This will be a sort of combo of video + CGI w/ lots of AI + coding happening in the background to do all of this effectively. So instead of AI robots, this could be a more feasible alternative that can come into fruition a lot sooner than later.
Flying to CES tomorrow, and the code is finally working 🙂 Ready to demo CORE R3. It can now autonomously create new expressions, new movements, new dialog (even in Hindi), completely different from the original captured data. pic.twitter.com/EPAJJrLyjd

As you can see from the tweet above as it comes from one of the heads of Neon eager to show this off along w/ its newest features this week. I am definitely curious to see what this will actually offer and how well it can perform. We won’t have long to wait in order to find out.
Does this interest you? Does this scare you? Or do you wish they put this effort and ability into Bixby?
