Nintendo has been killing it on the gaming side w/ the portable + powerful Switch mobile console.  Last year, they refreshed it w/ a new CPU to beef up up performance + battery life as well as a portable-only Switch Lite.  But we keep hearing constant rumblings on a newer model set to come and its getting a little louder.

While previous reports suggested that a new Switch from Nintendo would be a portable version of the PlayStation or Xbox  w/ a 4K display, $400 price tag, and more performance/features.  That sounds amazing but not quite possible w/ current battery & thermal tech – yet.

However a more realistic rumor suggests a bit more of an update thanks to the folks over at DigiTimes.  This is said to offer a magnesium alloy body design and a new CPU to beef up the overall performance even more so.  Not sure if there’s more leaks and such to come for the new Switch as it is expected to go into production sometime during the 1st quarter of this year.

Looks like Nintendo is looking to keep the momentum of their latest console going.  Hopefully, all goes well as they bring new abilities, features, and games to the Switch for 2020.
