Google has been dropping a lot of dope features for the latest Pixel 4 line of smartphones. It’s not hard to imagine that some of you older Pixel owners would have some FOMO.
Well, there’s good news that comes to you Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 owners as you now get access to the lovely automatic call screening from the Pixel 4. This is part of their new Call Screen feature that automatically screens unknown callers w/o having to acknowledge them to accept or ignore the call. Your phone doesn’t even ring and since everything is happening on your device, no data is used in the process.
For you Pixel 2 & 3 owners, you make sure you have the latest update for the Phone app and then dive into it and hit the Settings. From there, go to Call Screen and hit the Filter Spam Calls toggle and if you wish to, the caller + spam ID as well.
Of course, those w/ a Pixel 3a or a Pixel 4 can get a bit more features along w/ it like the ability to record calls via Google Assistant.
