We’re less than a week away from Samsung’s Unpacked event, we got more details on their updated earbuds: the Galaxy Buds+.  Despite looking damn-near identical, there is a lot of new things present on the Plus model.  As you can see from the leaked specs sheet above thanks to the legendary EvLeaks.

So for starters, you got a welcome boost in battery life.  The new buds offer a 85 mAh battery capable of 11 hours of juice and 22 hours w/the charging case and 7.5 hours of talk time.  The charging case gets faster charging as 3 minute charge will get you 60 minutes of playtime.  As opposed to the 6 hours of juice from the original ones.

The new Buds now offer a dedicated tweeter + woofer drivers in each earbud.  Samsung adds an extra mic for a total of 3 mics (2 outer + 1 in the inner) in hopes to better improve the voice quality as the original Buds were lacking.  The new touchpad on the exterior can be used to open Spotify as Samsung and the music streaming company is keeping the partnership going.  And last but not least, you can connect to more than one device – multiple devices.

The Galaxy Buds+ will be priced at $149 (a $20 price hike) and arriving in Black, White, Red, & Blue color options.  For me, this might be the most interesting leak from all of the Unpacked rumors.

What do you think?  Are you picking these up?
