The classic Sega Genesis title returns for a new era of gamers. Earlier this week, Streets of Rage 4 dropped a new trailer showing off new additions/features to get everyone excited about its upcoming arrival.
They show off new multiplayer details that allows for 4-player co-op gaming locally. However, online play will still be capped at 2-players though- just like previous versions of the game. Also new is the intro to the 5th character to join the crew. So we got Floyd Iraia rocking w/ Alex, Blaze, Adam Hunter, & Cherry Hunter. Floyd is a big boy that’s powerful w/ cyborg arms a la Jax from the Mortal Kombat series. Those amrs make him the strongest of the bunch but also slower. Having an laser-firing arm cannon should make up for it.
Streets of Rage 4 is set to arrive later this Spring on pretty much all platforms (PC, PS4, Switch, & Xbox One). No word on pricing as of yet but I am interested in seeing what they did w/ the series for 2020.
