Even though Fujifilm has been winning people over w/ the X-T line of mirrorless cameras, there is still room for improvement.  Earlier this morning, they announced their latest X-T4 and it might just be what everyone wanted from them.

The X-T4 retains the same 26.1MP sensor from the X-T3 but adds some notable & welcome features.  You got 5-axis in-body stabilization, faster autofocus system, a new larger battery that gives you up to 600 shots per charge – double the juice of it predecessor, a new rear display w/ higher resolution & the ability to completely flip out for vlogging, and up to 15fps w/the mechanical shutter + auto exposure (20fps w/ the electronic shutter).

On the video side of things, the X-T4 keeps 4K @60fps w/ a 600Mbps max bitrate but adds super-slow motion 1080p @240fps into the mix.  You still got 10-bit F-Log video that can record directly into one of the 2 SD cards.  Speaking of which, you now record using both cards at the same time w/ one being the main and the other as a backup.  Not bad Fujifilm, not bad at all.

The X-T4 goes on sale sometime during Spring 2020 for $1,700 for the body and $2,100 w/ the 18-55 kit lens.  Fujifilm looks like they gave you what many of you has asked for – at least on paper anyways.

So who’s picking one up?
