Yesterday, Google announced a new addition coming to their Play Store of apps.  Say hello to their new ‘Teacher-Approved’ apps for kids.  Which is ideal for those of you at home quarantined w/ children & want to keep the learning going.

This will be a combination of curated apps that can help kids develop & grow while having fun.  So expect apps form the likes of Sesame Street, PBS Kids, & more to fill-in the learning gap for younger kids.  Although, I’m not sure what apps will be present for older kids.  Each app has been approved by academic experts that teamed up w/ Google for this.

Originally, this feature was set to arrive sometime later in the year but w/ everything happening w/ Covid-19, now is a much better time for it to launch.  This is a new section will be rolling out over the next few days in the US and more places internationally over the next few months.

When this hits, I’ll be checking it out to see what I can use for a soon-to-be 3-year old.  How about you?
