So it looks like Apple is ramping up to drop more audio products in the very near future.Ā Leaker & face of FrontPageTech Jon Prosser has been on a roll w/ his slew of Apple information and this latest one is one of the more interesting one.Ā Ā
He says we’re to expect the AirPods Lite which was previously rumored a while back.Ā These are set to be modeled after the BeatsX design w/ a around-the-neck wire attached to earbuds.Ā They are rumored to have a $200 price point and due out sometime around the fall – like September or October.Ā Ā
Next up, we got the rumored Apple over-ear headphones possibly w/ noise-canceling on board.Ā Set to be a step up from the Air Pods and offering an actual can option.Ā These will be modeled after the Beats Studio3s w/ a $350 price tag set to be unveiled this summer during the virtual WWDC in June.Ā Ā
And lastly, the reason for the possible overlap in current Beats & these possible Apple products is said to be a phaseout of the Beats company as a whole.Ā Not to say that this will be the case for Apple who paid $3 billion for the company.Ā Many believed Apple acquired the company to power their music streaming service and not their products.Ā Ā
Now these products could come out and Apple could keep the Beats line or they could go the phase out route and keep the IP & select employees.Ā You might want to bookmark this for future reference to see how this all pans out.Ā Ā
What’re your thoughts on it all?
