Its hard to believe that the 1st Destiny dropped back in 2014 from the makers of Halo, Bungie.  Destiny 2 dropped in 2017 and have been updating & expanding it ever since.  Yesterday, they laid out their roadmap for continuing the sequel moving forward w/ more DLCs.  This fall gives us the Beyond Light expansion on September 22nd, The Witch Queen sometime in 2021, and the Lightfall in 2022.

Don't look for Destiny 3 anytime soon.

So the Guardians will go to Europa to tackle Eramis & her army of the Fallen to get a new strength in Beyond LightThe Witch Queen is actually the trickster sister of Oryx (The Taken King) and her name is Savathun.  And lastly, not a lot is known about Lightfall but you can definitely expect players to lose out to the Darkness here.

And for those of you planning to pick up one of the next-gen consoles, they got you covered as well.  The newer versions of Destiny 2 will support 4K @60fps on both the PS5 & the Xbox Series X.  Those of who already own the game for the PS4 & Xbox One will get free upgrades to the PS5 & Xbox Series X versions for all existing content.

So is this the much-needed fuel for you to bring you back to Destiny 2 for more of the action?  Sound off below.
