Google Duo has been an amazing FaceTime competitor since its inception on both Android & iOS platforms.  It even has the potential to be a Zoom competitor as well.  This newly-added & missing feature can help it go head-to-head against the popular video calling app.

Yesterday, there was word from the folks over Android Police that Google Duo adds invite links for calls. This was announced back in May originally but the feature wasn’t available until recently.  You can copy/send invite links for video calls & making it hell of a lot easier for friends & family to hop on a call.  Which is great as Google Duo maxes out their group call limit to now 32 people on a call.

It currently only works on mobile and not the web – for now.  This makes using Duo over Google Meet a lot easier to use as its a more consumer-based app over Meet’s enterprise-based one.

So are you gonna give Google Duo a shot or keep using Zoom?
