Xbox Series S concept

While we’re all still awaiting for the holiday season for the new Xbox & PlayStation, we’re getting news of another console coming from Xbox.  There was rumblings online about an S version of the newer console.  New reports from Eurogamer & The Verge says the Xbox Series S is real.

Now this won’t be as powerful as the Series X though but that is expected.  So the Series S will have same speed CPU as on the Series X but less RAM + GPU performance.  The S will have a 7.5GB of RAM + 4 teraflops of GPU performance while the X will have  a 13.5GB of RAM + 12 teraflops of GPU performance.  Along w/ this we’re expecting to support up to 1440p monitors and will be tied to the Xbox All-Access subscription.  So this might be a mix of the Xbox One S and the All Digital console w/ close to Series X power.

So we’re expecting to the see the official reveal sometime in August.  But not sure if it will be available for the holiday season along w/ the Xbox Series X.  I think Microsoft was honestly holding onto this to see what Sony was gonna unveil and this is to counter their digital version of the PS5.

So who’s interested in this one if this comes out this year?
