Earlier today, Sony announced the previously announced PlayStation 5 event is now set for June 11th @4PM EST.   The event was originally set for June 4th but due to the protests against racism/police brutality globally, they postponed it.

The presentation was already pre-recorded as it will be shown off in 1080p @30fps.  But they claim the games will look even better when you play them on the PS4 on a 4KTV.  Sony does recommend you to wear headphones as there will be some cool audio work in the show which we thinks its 3D audio.

Fro those of you who forgot, the PS5 will be armed w/ an 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU, a custom GPU based on AMD RDNA 2, 16GB of RAM, a proprietary SSD giving you 825GB of storage, capable of 3D audio & Dolby Atmos support, can game in 4K @120fps, and will have a 4K Blu-Ray player.

It looks like its finally happening.  So who’s excited to see what games the PS5 has to offer?
