For those of you getting closer to being able to afford that Tesla Model 3 you always wanted, there’s some good news for you. Thanks to the folks over at Electrek, they got word that the newer Model 3s and getting the same treatment as the Model Ys.
Tesla will, be adding USB-C ports and a wireless phone charging area to newer Model 3s being built from their Fremont factory in California. The Model Y already started shipping w/ Qi wireless charger as it comes standard. This will be a nice and quiet upgrade for the Model 3. So you will no longer have to pick up 3rd-party wireless chargers and/or cables moving forward.
This is a nice little addition since they recently lowered the prices of many of their vehicles slightly. You can save up to $2,000 off of the Model 3s and save $5,000 off of the Model S and X vehicles. After seeing tons of Model 3s on the road, did you pick yours up yet?
