Similar to what they did w/ the Model S, X, & 3 line back in May, Tesla is shaving some $$ off of their latest Model Y vehicles as well.  Their latest vehicles just started shipping in March which is ahead of their scheduled timeframe and is already up for savings or price adjustment.

The Model Y is now $3,000 cheaper and making its Long Range AWD trim cost $49,990 and the Performance package is $59,990.  Despite the temporary shutdown at their factory in California, the company stock is doing very well as Tesla is still selling cars during a pandemic.

All of this before their upcoming Battery Day announcement about them unveiling their new battery technology that allows for ever longer range + holding a longer charge.  Not sure if this will make their vehicles even cheaper or more expensive.  Only time will tell.
