For those of you who own or looking to pick up the latest Mac Pro from Apple, we got some details on a more affordable alternative for its mobility. The folks over at OWC announced their new Rover Pro wheels kit available for pre-order.
These OWC wheels require no tools to set everything up but there is no wheel locks present though. They’re made of polished stainless steel w/ a soft rubber tread within wheels that can turn 360-degrees. OWC also gives you a lifetime warranty behind them BTW.
Now normally, Apple charges $400 when you buy them w/ your Mac Pro but if you get them alone its a whopping $700 – for wheels. Now these will retail for $249 but there’s a pre-order promo to get them for only $199.
