Remember CDs for music & computer programs?  it used to be our main way to install programs & listen to music and are pretty much an afterthought nowadays.  So much that over 1 trillion plastic discs are winding up in landfills & incinerators and beefing up the earth’s pollution.

Well, the folks over at Nimble who create smartphone accessories made from eco-friendly materials are doing something about it- by using them.  Introducing their new Disc Case phone cases made from recycled CDs/DVDs.  They’re made from REPLAY (Post consumer compact discs or polycarbonate plastic) that offer permanent antimicrobial protection, scratch-resistant, anti-yellowing, support wireless charging, and can survive drops up to 6ft.  Did we mention that Nimble uses 100% plastic-free packaging?

The new Nimble Disc Cases will arrive for the 2nd-gen iPhone SE and all flavors of the iPhone 11 (11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max).  They’re available starting today over at Nimble’s site as well as Verizon’s site + retailers thanks to that recent partnership.  Be on the lookout for a closer, more in-detail look at the case when ours come in.

Stay tuned!
