Your Smart Displays are about to get even more useful by adding access to the Zoom app. This means if you have a Amazon Echo Show, Facebook Portal, or a Google Nest Hub; you’ll be able to take Zoom calls on there.
Facebook will bring one-touch join meeting features to all of your Zoom meetings and will use its smart camera to keep you in frame. On the Echo Shows, you’ll be able to utilize Alexa to hop on Zoom calls. And on the Nest Hub devices, you’ll be able utilize FaceMatch to bring up your individual meeting information as well as take advantage of Google Calendar + Google Assistant integration.
So you the good news is that you won’t have to wait too long for it either. Zoom says it will be available in September for the Facebook Portal while it will arrive later this year for the Nest Hubs & Echo Shows starting w/ the Echo Show 8.
