Earlier today, we got some news on the upcoming Google Pixel 5. This includes the some of the hardware specs & a few new images of the device as well. This bit of info is courtesy of the folks over at WinFuture.
This more or less confirms previous reports on what to expect for the flagship Pixel. However when it comes to the Pixel, hardware is only part of the story as Google’s software is the other part of it all.
So in regards to the Pixel 5 specs, expect a bump up from the Pixel 4a. Reports suggest a 6inch 1080p OLED display w/ 90Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 765G CPU w/ 5G support, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, Bluetooth 5.0, stereo speakers, dual rear-facing cameras: f/1.7 12.2MP standard lens + f/2.2 16MP wide-angle sensor w/ 107-degree filed of view, an f/2.0 8MP hole punch selfie camera, Android 11, and a 4000 mAh battery w/ 18W fast wired charging + wireless charging support.
Pricing is rumored for $699 in either Black or Green color options. While the Pixel 4a 5G is said to have a $499. Color options for that has yet to be revealed. Is this the vision of Google’s 5th-generation Pixel you’ve been waiting for?
