So in case you were wondering if it was going to happen this year, it is.  Earlier this morning, Amazon unveiled their Prime Day plans for 2020 as well as the date.  For this year, it will be a 2-day event happening in only a few weeks.  This is great news for anyone looking for savings on the new hardware they revealed last week.

So on October 13th to the 14th, Amazon will offer over 1 million deals.  Amazon is beefing up their support for smaller businesses by giving Prime members a $10 credit usable on Prime Day by spending $10 at select small businesses on Amazon.  There will be deals kicking off now until Prime Day like deals on Echo Dots, Fire TV Recast, and more.

The deals will be available via Alexa, Amazon Live, Amazon app, in-store at Amazon retail stores, & Whole Foods.  Prime Day kicks off at 12AM PST/3AM EST on Tuesday, October 13th.   This will be in effect in US, UK, UAE, Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia, and for the first time this year—Turkey and Brazil.
