Earlier today, Bose announced their new-and-improved buds w/ the QuietComfort earbuds. These are set to give you the Bose sound w/ their legendary noise-cancelling abilities in earbud form factor. This is their $279 premium earbuds BTW.
So the new QC buds offer kind of what you would expect from modern earbuds + Bose in 2020. You got an IPX4 sweat + weather resistant coating w/ touch controls on the side, stabilizer ear tips to help stay within your ear, a total 4 mics plus 11 levels of noise-canceling w/ transparency mode for blocking out outside noise and taking amazing phone calls with them, you get 6 hours of juice on a single charge that adds 12 more hours via charging case, and fast-charging gives you 2 hours of juice on a 15-minute charge. If this sounds great but too expensive for you, Bose got you covered.
Bose also has the $179 Sport Earbuds which gives you a more sportier, oval shape to the design. You still have a stabilizer fin for better staying in your ears, new drivers, more color options, & new sound EQ. You still have the IPX4 water-resistance but lose out on the ANC abilities by paying $100 less for them though.
Both earbuds are available for pre-order now and goes on sale on September 29th. I am curious to see if the QCs can be the AirPod Pro killer?
