So next week on my born day, we’re expecting something new from Sony.  More specifically, a concept camera rumored to be called the A7c.  Thanks to the good folks over at Sony Alpha Rumors, we got a good look at the upcoming shooter.

The concept is a full-frame mirrorless shooter w/ newest Sony tech & features inside the body of a a6000.

Now at 1st glance, you might look at the leaked image and say ‘so what’?  The interesting thing here is that they crammed a full-frame mirrorless camera w/ an electronic viewfinder, in-body image stabilization, & a flip-out LCD display in the size of an a6000.  This is all thanks to Sony’s mastery of shrinking parts + technology after many years of practice starting all the way back w/ the NEX-7.

So in regards to rumored specs on the A7c, expect the latest features + tech from Sony.  We’re hearing that it will offer a 24MP full-frame sensor, a fully articulating screen + their latest auto-focus algorithm from the A7S III, can shoot 4K@30fps video, IBIS (in-body image stabilization), the newer NP-FZ100 batteries, a single SD card slot, a built-in mic + headphone jack, and can be charged via USB-C.

Now the rumored pricing is currently at $2,100 for the body.   This is slightly more than the A7III but will a few more treats from the A7S III in a smaller body though.  So unless more details become available, we’ll hear about it all next week.
