Along w/ the Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung also announced some good news for those of you who own their latest smartwatches: the arrival of ECG support. So Samsung is add that along w/ the Samsung Health Monitor to both the Galaxy Watch 3 & the Galaxy Watch Active 2.   

So w/ this new feature, you will be able to run an electrocardiogram to monitor your heart rhythm for irregularities as well as scan for signs of Atrial Fibrillation.  You’ll be able to share your results w/ your doctor via the Samsung Health Monitor app to keep up w/ your heart health.  Those of you w/ the Galaxy Watch 3 can also enjoy the arrival of blood oxygen monitoring as well.  This will check how well your respiratory system is transferring oxygen into your bloodstream.  

This feature launched in South Korea late last year but finally got approved for use here.  So for those of you who own either watch here in the US, be on the lookout for that update.
