Google’s 2nd-gen Pixel Buds has the potential to be top-tier competitors for the premium earbud experience.  Unfortunately, there are several issues plaguing them & stopping them from being great.  One of them is audio cutouts that can be frustrating.

Yesterday, Google rolled out an update to address that – sort of.  They found a bug that caused the audio to drop out for every one minute + 50 seconds and this update addresses this particular bug to rectify it.  The update will roll out over the next few days w/ the software version 552.

We recently got the Pixel Buds shortly after the Bass Boost update rolled out last month.  We reviewed them & enjoyed them despite all of their problems.  Hopefully Google can roll out some more updates to fix all of the issues so the Pixel Buds 2 can achieve their potential glory.
