So Sony’s PS5 Showcase event just ended and w/ it, they finally revealed pricing, pre-orders, & release date info on their next-gen showcase. And it all aligns to what Microsoft is charging for their next-gen consoles.
The PlayStation 5 will cost you $500 & their Digital Edition PS5 will cost you $400. This makes the pricing on par w/ Microsoft as their Xbox Series X will be $500 & their Series S will be $400. Pre-orders kick off on September 17th at select retailers. It will launch on November 12th for the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, & South Korea. As the rest of the world will get it on November 19th.
I can imagine that there will be limited quantities so if you don’t act fast you might have to wait for it. No word yet if there will be any price cuts on the now-older models like the PS4 Pro + PS4.
But now we got all the info on both consoles. So you’re either gonna get both, none, or pick a side. Which route are you going?
