Today, Fujifilm unveils their latest of their instant photo camera w/ the Instax Square SQ1 Instant Camera. So unlike their other models, this lives up to its name & gives you square photos instead of more rectangular ones.
The SQ1 is easy to use as you can just twist the lens to turn it on/off to get started. You’re armed w/ a 65mm lens w/ a programmed electronic shutter 1.6 to 1/400 seconds, ISO 800 w/ auto exposure, a selfie mode, flash, automatic film ejection, and takes about 90 seconds to develop your photo.
The results from the SQ1 are 62 mm × 62 mm square photos w/ a film look to it. The SQ1 is due out this October for $120 as it will arrive in Terracotta Orange, Glacier Blue, and Chalk White color options.
